Utilizing the design and manufacturing technology and know-how we have cultivated over our long history since our founding, we aim to reach the ultimate level of functionality, quality, cost, and delivery, thereby improving customer satisfaction and creating a new sustainable society.

Since its founding in 1933 as a special steel tool manufacturing company, DPI has been manufacturing and selling precision parts that take advantage of the high functionality and high performance characteristics of special steel. These products play a behind-the-scenes role by supporting social life as high-performance precision parts for automobiles, precision machined parts for industrial machinery such as compressors, and power transmission devices such as couplings.
These products are often used in harsh environments, and require heat resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, etc. Special steel that meets these requirements is extremely difficult to process and requires advanced technology. We have honed our techniques with a focus on precision even in such highly difficult processing, and have contributed to the world through our products. This spirit has been passed down to this day, and we satisfy our customers' needs through vertically integrated manufacturing, from materials to processing, assembly, and finishing.

Furthermore, society is currently undergoing major changes. It can be said that we are currently in the midst of a period of great change. Specifically, decarbonization stemming from climate change issues, changes in automobile mechanisms (electrification such as BEV shift), evolution of semiconductors, digitalization due to the advent of AI, inequality issues, human rights issues, etc., and political speculation, etc. are intertwined. It is no exaggeration to say that DPI, which has been in business for over 90 years, is at a crossroads. We believe that our first goal is to improve our functionality, quality, cost, and delivery competitiveness. Using the design and manufacturing technology and know-how cultivated over our long history, we have perfected the functionality, quality, cost, and delivery competitiveness of each product, and evolved existing products into products needed by a new society. At the same time, by developing new products that contribute to the realization of a new society, we hope to continue to be a company whose value is recognized by society even during this period of major change. Furthermore, through the process described above, we aim to be a company where each and every employee can experience growth and fulfillment.
